Hi, I’m Shan Keogh.

I live in the beautiful state of Queensland on the east coast of Australia, after moving here 15 years ago from South London.

I’m mum to three amazing humans who are all grown up now and no longer need me as much as they once did, which has given me the time and space to finally pursue my lifelong passion for writing.

When I’m not working my day job or squeezing in as much writing and editing as possible, I love watching movies and going for walks along the beach.  As a Pisces baby, I feel most at peace near the water, seeing and hearing the ocean is where I feel completely calm.

I write psychological thrillers with a romantic twist. Stories that explore relationships, secrets, and the darker complexities that can sit beneath love and connection.

My first book, Our Perfect Undoing, is set in Sydney, Australia and follows the love and heartbreak of Steff and Joey —teenage sweethearts whose lives are torn apart just as everything finally begins to feel right, when life is on the rise and perfection was close, leaving one of them alone and desperate for answers.
